ADDITIONAL INFORMATION CONCERNING MEDALS

In order to be considered for a GCC Medal, a player must

meet the following requirements:

            1. Be a member in good standing of the GCC clan.

            2. Be listed on the GCC Roster as an active player.

            3. Have performed in a way appropriate to the medal for which the player is    nominated.

How players are nominated for and awarded GCC medals:

            1. Nominations for medals must be made by an active officer (Lieutenant or higher rank) in the GCC clan.

            2. The officer making the nomination will submit the nomination in writing either by PM or email directly to the Division Commander.  The Division Commander then may either reject the nomination or forward it to the upper ranks for approval.  All nominations must be approved by the Command staff all the way up through the General of the Army.  All nominations for awards are top secret until the final determination is made.

            3. Medals for match awards (i.e. MVP of match) may be awarded by the match commander or by vote of the GCC participants in that particular match.  If a vote is conducted the match commander will pick 2 or 3 candidates and present them for a vote to the participants.

Members who have been awarded a medal will have permission to display the medal(s) or the appropriate ribbon for that medal in their signature or avatar in the forums.

Members must not display any Medal for which they have not been officially awarded and, if awarded more than one of the same Medal, may display that Medal with appropriate designations only up to the number of times officially awarded.  There will be a special page on the GCC web site displaying the medals and members who have been awarded a medal/s.
