Letter of Waiver

A Letter of Waiver is required for any and all minors that would like to join the Gulf Coast Commando’s Clan and must be signed by their Parent or Legal Guardian. A copy of the letter is available on the Gulf Coast Commando’s Web Site \ Application Form \ Letter of Waiver link.

To insure the letter was signed by a Parent/Legal Guardian responsible for the minor/s, a personal telephone call is required. The applicant’s Parent/Legal Guardian must provide a phone number with area code, the name of the party to speak with and an acceptable time to call. Gulf Coast Commando’s will originate the call to the phone number provided. We will make 1(one) call only.

Gulf Coast Commando’s reserves the right to insure the party called is actually the Parent/Legal Guardian of the minor. The personal phone call may be bypassed with a signed and notarized copy of the Letter of Waiver or from personal acquaintance with the Parent/Guardian.

At present we do not have a method of accomplishing this via email, so the above listed methods are the only ones approved. Recorded voice verification via Team Speak may be a possible alternative at some point in the future but as yet is not accepted.

By imposing the above requirements, we feel any Court of Law would acknowledge “Reasonable precautions are incorporated to protect minor’s rights.”
